Reportedly, 75 year old John Monroe, wanted on charges that include Rape of a Child with Force, was arrested back in March by police in Deland Florida.
According to Massachusetts State Police, a multi-state investigation resulted in Monroe being found hiding out in an apartment he rented on West Parkway in Deland. Police arrested him on a Fugitive From Justice charge, and brought him to a Florida jail. Monroe had cut off a court-ordered GPS monitoring bracelet and then fled Fall River. Police have been searching for him since last October.
Monroe is charged with Rape of a Child with Force, Aggravated Rape of a Child, Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child under 14, Enticement of a Child under 16, and other related charges.
