Make a unique, custom-designed planter using soda bottles, tin cans, old toys, and other upcycled material. Paints and other design elements will be supplied, and we’ll even provide a succulent plant for everyone who attends! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library and made possible through a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council. Space and materials are limited, so sign up now. Register by calling the adult circulation desk at 508-324-2700, ext. 2.
Tuesday, October 1:
Beer Can Museum Pop-up and Talk with Kevin Logan, 6 pm
Collector Kevin Logan will bring a traveling pop-up version of his unique East Taunton museum, featured in Chronicle and Travel & Leisure. The Beer Can Museum is an amazing collection of more than 5,000 different beer cans, dating back to the 1930s. He will talk about the history of beer, the evolution of different can designs, and how he got started collecting. All are welcome for this fun, all-ages event!
