United Neighbors of Fall River has launched its annual drive to collect coats and accessories for community members in need of warm outerwear for the cold season.
The organization is looking for donations of the following items:
- Clean coats appropriate for harsh New England winters
- New or gently used gloves, hats, and scarves
No windbreakers, trench coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, or hoodies can be accepted.
Items can be dropped off until January 15 at the United Neighbors office at 209 Bedford Street in Fall River or at the Swansea Mall. Individuals who are donating several coats and need help bringing them to United Neighbors’ office may contact Tim Gustave at (508) 324-7900, ext. 102.
United Neighbors of Fall River is a coalition that supports children and families by coordinating community resources and increasing neighborhood-based activities that empower residents and build partnerships.
