The final election on November 3rd brought two new faces to the School Committee: Paul Coogan, a retired principal at BMC Durfee, and Edward Costar, a first time candidate.
The four remaining incumbents were re-elected: Vice Chairman Mark Costa, Joseph Martins, Gabriel Andrade, and Edward Costar, who is now serving his sixth term.
Nine candidates ran for the six available seats.
Voter turn out was 34 percent, which is about what Board of Election Chairwoman Liz Camara had predicted. In total, there are approximately 47 thousand voters in the city of Fall River.
