The number of city residents seeking to run for mayor in the March 12 recall election is now up to ten.
Aaron Elijah Ferreira and Erica A. Scott-Pacheco secured nomination papers this afternoon. They join Mayor Jasiel Correia, School Committeeman Paul Coogan, City Councilor Joe Camara, former city councilor and school committeeman Kyle Riley, former councilor Dan Rego, and residents Luis Cabral, Aaron Ferreira, and Ronald Gagnon.
The deadline to obtain nomination papers is this Thursday, January 17. The deadline to return signed nominations papers is next Tuesday, January 22.
