Reconfiguration of the Intersection of President Avenue and Davol Street Northbound
What Is Happening?
To accommodate essential utility work in the area, the intersection of President Avenue and Davol Street Northbound will be temporarily reconfigured beginning January 8. The temporary reconfiguration will remain for approximately 4 months.
How Will this Affect You?
When traveling west on President Avenue to Davol Street northbound, the dedicated right turn lane from President Avenue to Davol Street northbound will be temporarily out of service. Vehicles will still be able to turn right onto Davol Street northbound or continue west along President Avenue from the right-hand lane. We respectfully request pedestrians utilize the detour signage and cross Route 79 at the designated temporary crosswalks. Signs will be posted 48 hours in advance.
Start Date: January 8, 2023
Time: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for approximately 4 months

Travel Tips
During this construction phase, President Avenue and Davol Street will remain open to vehicular traffic. Please take care to pay attention to all signage as it is posted.
