It’s time for Massachusetts residents to get out and vote in today’s Presidential Primary. Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, March 1st. Board of Elections Chairwoman Liz Camara says the city has completed its public testing of voting machines and so far so good.
“I expect a better than average turnout in today’s election because a new president must be sworn into office,” she tells FRC Media News.
Historically, Fall River has experienced low voter turnout in previous elections with less than thirty percent of voters heading to the polls on various election days. Currently, the city has approximately 47 thousand registered voters.
