Summer is a time for students of all ages to kick back and relax, but school responsibilities during the hot months should also be completed. The Summer Reading program is one such responsibility.
Books that should be read before the start of school in September for grades one through eight can be found on the Fall River Public Schools website. Additional recommended texts are also listed.
School officials say, by reading and practicing math concepts all year long, students hone their reading and rationalization skills that can actually help with future educational success.
