Tickets Available for May 21st Free Drive-In Viewing of Grease

(Fall River, MA- May 5, 2021)- Tickets for the City of Fall River’s May 21st Drive-In Movie are now available for in-person and virtual reservation. While the event is free of charge, residents must reserve a ticket to enter. Virtual tickets are available on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fall-river-drive-in-movie-grease-tickets-152921940641) and physical tickets can be obtained at Fall River Government Center or at Greater Fall River ReCreation at 45 Rock St.

The Friday, May 21st event will be showing the musical Grease. Gates will open at 6:30pm with the show set to begin at 8:15pm. The night’s theme is “1950s Carnival” and will include vintage cars from the Bristol County Car Club, costumed characters, caricature artists, 1950s music and a photo booth. Food will be available for purchase. All vehicles will be entered in a raffle to win prizes.

The May showing of Grease is the second in the six-part Free Drive-In Movie Series announced at the April 24th Drive-in. The additional dates and movies are as follows:

• May 21st- Grease (Durfee High School)
• June 19th- Jumanji (Durfee High School)
• July 30th- Jurassic Park (Location TBD)
• August 27th- Black Panther (Location TBD)
• September 24th- Despicable Me (Location TBD)

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Senator Michael Rodrigues’ Office, all of the 2021 Fall River Drive-In Series will be free of charge. Visitors will be required to obtain tickets for each event. Tickets for each movie will become available on the first day of every month. Tickets can be obtained either online through Eventbrite or in person at City Hall and the Re-Creation Office
at 45 Rock St.
