Youth Musical Theater Corp. is proud to present “Hairspray” at The Jackson Arts Center located at Bristol Community College.

Time: Friday, 7:00 p.m. and Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m.
Cost: $15 dollars per ticket for everyone

Synopsis: plump teenager Tracy Turnblad's dream is to dance on The Corny Collins Show, a local
TV dance program. When Tracy wins a role on the show, she becomes a celebrity overnight, and
meets a colorful array of characters. She then launches a campaign to integrate the show. Hairspray is a social commentary on the injustices of parts of American society in the 1960s.

We are non-profit 501(c)3 organization that caters to the youth of our community. We provide young people with the opportunity to participate in high quality theatrical experiences, while building up their self-esteem and confidence. We produce 2 Broadway style Musicals each year that we perform at BCC. We are an ALL-volunteer group that depends on family and community support to fund our productions.
