A Fall River mayoral debate sponsored by SouthCoast Media will take place tonight beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Morton Middle School located at 1135 North Main Street.
All five candidates running for the position in the upcoming Preliminary Election scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 have been invited to participate. Here is the list of mayoral hopefuls presented in alphabetical order:
- Resident Richard Cabeceiras
- Resident Ronald Cabral
- Incumbent Mayor Jasiel F. Correia II
- City Council Vice President Linda Perreira
- Resident Jordan Silvia
Each candidate will have three minutes to respond to questions asked by the moderator. The event is scheduled to last until 7:30 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
