The Police Athletic League of Fall River, Incorporated, is hosting the 53rd Southern New England Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament.
The annual event will take place at the P.A.L. Hall, located at 31 Franklin Street, in Fall River.
To date 50 boxers have registered. The athletes come from throughout southern New England. Participants range in age from 16 to 34 years old. There will be approximately 10 bouts nightly.
The 2016 schedule, preliminaries, Saturday, January 16, semi-finals, Saturday, January 23, and finals, Saturday, January 30.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the first bout is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available at the bar along with food from our snack bar.
