After numerous political debates and forums sponsored by local news outlets, including FRCMedia, it’s almost time to get out and vote.
Tuesday, November 3rd is election day in Fall River. Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 8:00 p.m. Out of the approximately 47 thousand registered voters in the city, Board of Elections Chairwoman Liz Camara is predicting a 35% voter turnout.
“The weather is expected to be decent,” Camara says, “so there may be more than the usual number heading to the polls, but we will have to wait and see.”
Live election results will be broadcast on FRCMedia channel 95 after the polls close. Frcconnect.org will also be reporting live on facebook with up-to-the-minute coverage. Stay tuned.
