Mayor Jasiel Correia has announced that the solid waste disposal contract between the City of Fall River and EZ Disposal Service, Inc. has been signed.
“This is an exciting day for our city. This agreement is yet another step towards more efficient government, cost reductions and most importantly, savings to our taxpayers. The Administration will be working closely with EZ Disposal to ensure a smooth transition and to provide the best possible service to our residents and property owners,” the mayor said.
The new trash disposal service will begin on July 1st of this year, which is the start of the new fiscal year.
