Yesterday’s city election saw the return of one longtime councilor and the emergence of three new faces to the nine-member board.
Trott Lee, Christopher Peckham and Michelle Dionne were elected to the city council for the first time. Former councilor Linda Pereira will return to the council after a two-year hiatus.
Five of the seven incumbents running in the election will return to office in January. Council President Cliff Ponte, Vice President Pam Laliberte-Lebeau, and councilors Shawn Cadime, Brad Kilby and Leo Pelletier earned another two-year term.
Current councilors Joseph Camara and Steven Camara were not re-elected to another term.
