Think again if you need to fill your pool, or run the dishwasher on Sunday, July 10th. That’s because Fall River’s water improvement treatment facility is scheduled for a temporary shutdown between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on that day, according to Terrance Sullivan, Community Utilities Administrator.
Sullivan says the temporary facility shut down at the Water Filtration Plant on Bedford Street is occurring on Sunday morning because that day is the lowest time of water use in the city, as it has been in the past.
Residents should plan their water usage activities around the shut down times.
