Fall River’s Temple Beth El is inviting the community to attend an interfaith service on Wednesday, November 28th, at 5:30 p.m.
The Community Interfaith Service of Peace and Solidarity is being held in response to the recent attack at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA, and to a second attack in Jeffersontown, KY that police say was racially motivated. Its purpose, according to the temple, is “coming together in solidarity to stand against hatred and to celebrate our commitments to human rights, liberty, and the dignity of all human beings.”
The service will last approximately an hour and will be followed by a reception. Temple Beth El is located at 385 High Street.
