Massachusetts Senator Mike Rodrigues says the legislature is scrambling to draw up rules and regulations regarding the fact that marijuana is now legalized for recreational purposes in the Bay State. The new law went into effect on December 15th, 2016; however, the legalities of how to sell and regulate the once illegal drug was not drawn up beforehand which and has now become a problem for lawmakers. In addition to having to establish a Cannabis Commission before too long, Rodrigues is concerned about the public safety ramifications that may result as more and more people ingest the drug:
