Spindle City Ballet is looking for local dancers 11 years and older with a minimum of four years of classical training to join its junior company.
The South Coast’s only nonprofit professional ballet company, Spindle City Ballet is now celebrating its 23rd season. Members of the junior company have a chance to participate in major performances and share the stage with visiting guest artists, according to the company’s web site.
Auditions will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 20, at The Dance Academy, located on the second floor at 288 Plymouth Avenue in Fall River. The audition fee is $35.
Dancers should bring technique slippers and pointe shoes to the auditions, along with a full body length 4×6 photo of themselves in tendu second position in complete ballet attire.
