With the upcoming Veteran’s Day holiday coming next weekend, Massachusetts State Police are alerting motorists to plan for a sobriety checkpoint scheduled for Saturday, November 12th.
Fall River residents driving on that day should be aware that the checkpoint will be implemented in an unspecified location in Bristol County during that time-frame.
According to a state police release, “It (the checkpoint) will be operated during varied hours, the selection of vehicles will not be arbitrary, safety will be assured, and any inconveniences to motorists will be minimized with advance notice to reduce fear and anxiety.”
