The snow ban has been lifted as of 11:00 p.m. Monday night after the area was blanketed in about ten inches of snow during this this weekend’s storm. Fall River students had a their second snow day so far this winter, today it’s back to normal, with area roads relatively clear, but may be slippery in spots.

Community Maintenance Director Ken Pachecco urges motorists to drive carefully. In the meantime, Pachecco will have to request more snow removal monies since the latest clean up cleaned out his Five Hundred and 25 thousand dollar budget.

“It’s the only budget that can easily be replenished, Pachecco says, which is good since forecasters are anticipating more of the white stuff to fall Wednesday, February 10th.
