Daylight savings time starts tomorrow, March 10, at 2:00 a.m. – for many, a first and welcome sign that spring is quickly approaching.
The new season begins officially with the spring equinox on Wednesday, March 20, a day that will also bring an unusual lunar event. For the first time in almost 40 years, March’s Full Worm Moon – associated with the start of spring — will occur on the same date as the equinox. It will also be a super moon, bigger and brighter than most of the other full moons this year.
Look for the special moon at 9:43 p.m. on the 20th, when it will be fully formed.
