The Republican National Convention wraps up tonight and the nomination of President Donald Trump for a second term. Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson is one of over 300 members of the Massachusetts GOP delegation.
He says even though delegates could not mingle in person due to the constraints of COVID-19, they were able to assemble in Charlotte to renominate President Trump in person.
Sheriff Hodgson says among the issues he sees up for debate this November is how the presidential candidates handle the funding and staffing of public safety.
Sheriff Hodgson hopes that whoever the next president is will be able to bridge the partisan divide that has overtaken Washington for far too long.
