Fall River area residents can expect about three more weeks of traffic delays in the south end of the city.
According to officials at the city’s Sewer Division the Globe Street Sewer Improvement Project, which was supposed to end today, February 23rd, will continue into March. A public hearing notice is expected to be issued soon, and will be posted on the municipal website.
The construction requires a partial closure of the intersection of Globe Street, South Main Street, and Broadway. Detour routes will be in effect, and clearly marked. Detours may vary based on construction activities. Potential road closures include: South Main Street (southbound) at Globe Street, South Main Street (northbound) at Hall Street, Globe Street (eastbound) between Allen Street and Kilburn Street.
