Several streets are closed in the Southend of Fall River as the city’s Sewer Division continues work on the Globe Street Sewer Improvement Project. The construction requires a partial closure of the intersection of Globe Street, South Main Street, and Broadway. Detour routes will be in effect and clearly marked. Detours may vary based on construction activities.
Potential road closures include: South Main Street (southbound) at Globe Street, South Main Street (northbound) at Hall Street, Globe Street (eastbound) between Allen Street and Kilburn Street.
The work is currently underway and will not be completed until February 23rd. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and/or seek alternate routes.
