The Fall River School Committee, in its bid to secure the best possible school superintendent to take over at the end of the fiscal year on June 30th, plans to consider Requests For Proposals that were submitted to help the process along.

A few weeks ago the committee requested help from a private firm at an approximate cost of $12 thousand dollars to help members weed through resumes and to determine what attributes they would like to see in a candidate.

The deadline to file an RFP was last Friday at the end of business. Today, February 29th the School Committee’s Ad Hoc subcommittee plans to meet at Kuss Middle School to review the proposals. The session will start at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
