School Department Proposed Budget Available For Review

A public hearing on the proposed 2017 School Department Budget will be held Monday, May 23rd at the Morton Middle School at 1135 North Main Street beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Residents interested in reviewing the proposed budget can visit the following locations:

Fall River Public Library at 104 North Main Street

School Administration Building at 417 rock Street

City Clerk’s Office at One Government Center

The proposed budget can also be viewed on line at the Fall River Public Schools Website

The budget proposal includes a 3% cut, which will mean layoffs and the deletion of extended day programs at certain schools.
