The Fall River Corps of the Salvation Army has officially launched its Red Kettle campaign for the 2025 holiday season.
Salvation Army Captain Sergo Lalanne says the holiday collections will support the local organization’s community outreach programs.
Captain Lalanne says that as residents continue to struggle with the high cost of living, meeting the community’s basic needs has become more challenging.
The Salvation Army will be collecting cash donations at grocery stores across Greater Fall River throughout the month.
Advisory board member Carl Sawejko says donating time or money will help ensure this year’s campaign is a success.
