The Fall River City Council Financial Subcommittee meets in regular session, Tuesday, May 10th. The sessions are always held at Government Center. According to the City Clerk’s Office citizens input time is a staple to the agenda. Residents and non-residents alike may speak on any topic that pertains to city business. Residents must sign in before the meeting begins, and non-residents can sign in at the same time, but they must also get permission from the council to speak. Here are the rules for Citizens Input time:

  • There is a three minute time limit for each resident.
  • Subjects to be addressed must be matters concerning City Government.
  • Residents must sign name, address and subject matter with the City Clerk at any given time until the Committee on Finance adjourns

No one is allowed to sign up on days before the City Council or its subcommittees meet.
