MassDOT will implement overnight single lane closures on I-195 East and West on the Braga Bridge from Tuesday, July 5th, through Friday, July 8th. The closures are from 8:00 PM each night to 6:00 AM the following morning.
One lane in each direction will be closed and traffic shifted between the Somerset and Fall River sides of the bridge. The lane shifts are necessary to allow the contractor to perform median and joint repairs.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible, reduce speed, and use caution. Drivers are also reminded that traffic fines are doubled in construction areas.
