The Rotary Club of Fall River is offering 12 scholarships to high school seniors who will be attending college next year.
Students who live in Fall River, Swansea, Westport, and Tiverton or who attend Apponequet Regional High School are eligible for the scholarships. The award amount is $1,000.
Applicants “should be committed to the mission of the Rotary Club, Service Above Self, by being active participants in school and community service activities,” said Juliette Almeida, co-chair of the scholarship committee.
The deadline to apply is April 2, 2019. Applications are available at local high school guidance offices and at http://frrotary.org.
