On Monday, October 19th, at 10:00 a.m., the City of Fall River will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the re-opening of Veterans’ Memorial Bicentennial Park on Davol Street.
Improvements made to the park include:
* A new entrance sign
* A CSO Underground Treatment Facility designed to improve water quality in Mt. Hope Bay
* Replacement of Park Department storage/work areas
* Refurbished tennis courts
* Handicapped accessible bathrooms
* Improved landscaping
* Parking and vehicle access
This event will be conducted near the new entrance sign to the park on Davol Street near President Avenue. The public is invited to attend and parking will be available in the improved lot.
