The second resource fair for the 80 people displaced by the Four Winds apartment complex fire will be held at Fall River Government Center today. The city, in conjunction with the fire department and numerous social service agencies, will be on hand to help those left homeless by the blaze that struck New Year’s Day. Rapid response by these city departments and agencies went into effect immediately after the blaze caused the demolition of the building in the city’s north end. According to the Red Cross spokesman, all the families are taken care of. The resource fair will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, people interested in donating gift cards and monetary donations can drop them off at the Fall River Fire Department located in the city’s industrial park. Because of spacing issues, no clothing, household and similar goods, can be dropped off at this location.
