The six regional public higher educational institutions in Southeastern Massachusetts have formed an alliance to provide educational opportunities to bolster the region’s offshore wind industry.
Bristol Community College, UMass Dartmouth, Bridgewater State University, Massasoit Community College, Cape Cod Community College and Massachusetts Maritime Academy signed a memorandum of understanding in support of training future and current employees in offshore wind.
Bristol’s National Offshore Wind Institute in New Bedford will provide customized training for current and prospective employees within the industry.
