Because of the Opioid epidemic plaguing gateway cities like Fall River, the state recently hosted a Recovery Coach Commission Listening Session at Bristol Community College. The goal is to gain feedback on a plan to launch a recovery coach program – whereby people familiar with, or recovering themselves from drug and alcohol problems – will be trained to help those still suffering get back on their feet:
