According to reports in the Fall River Herald News, a garage fire was reported at about 5:00 a.m. this morning, Tuesday, August 23rd. The fire ravaged the garage of a vacant building located at 308 Seabury Street.
Fire Department Captain Neil Furtado was quoted as saying the cause of the blaze is ‘unknown at this time,” but officials continue to investigate. No one was reported injured in today’s event. The multi-unit building has been vacant since it was damaged in a four alarm blaze in May of 2015.
The Seabury Street fire comes in the wake of several others throughout the city, which included vehicles. For the full story check out this Herald News Link.
