Reaction rolled in after the Mayor’s State of the City Address, during which Jasiel Correia II spoke about city improvements, including those affecting economic development; branding initiatives; public safety concerns; the disintegration of the trash fee, and privatization of trash collection. The mayor also vowed to work more closely and efficiently with city councilors as there is some tension between the two governmental bodies.
