Dozens of people waited hours in line this morning to be among the first to order from the menu at the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant, which opened its doors in Fall River.
Raising Cane’s launched in 1996 and has 900 locations across the United States. In the last few years, it has expanded into New England.
The line to enter the restaurant wound around the building. Out front was Michael Branch of Fall River.
In addition to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, 20 lucky patrons received a certificate for free chicken from Raising Cane’s in Fall River for one year.
