The SouthCoast and the country are reflecting on the progress made in race relations one year following the death of George Floyd.

Rob Delaleu, Director of Multicultural Affairs at Bristol Community College, says the past year has brought a greater awareness of the role race has played across the county.

Delaleu says any progress on race will be long-lasting only if we are personally committed to change.

In his role at Bristol Delaleu developed a series of community forums that focused on creating a safe space to discuss issues involving race.
