Purple Bag Amnesty Update

Fall River residents will not have to use purple bags for regularly scheduled trash pickup between December 26th, 2018 and January 2nd, 2019. The resolution to implement the purple bag amnesty program was submitted by City Councilor Pam Laliberte-Lebeau and approved last week by the full council. This is the third holiday season residents do not have to use the bags under the terms of Laliberte-Lebeau’s resolution.
