Up for discussion at this week’s City Council Public Safety Subcommittee: An update on an abandoned property on Weetamoe Street, and a progress report on the reconstruction outcome of the former Abbey Grill restaurant at 100 Rock Street.
Committee members, Richard Cabeceiras, Pam Laliberte-Lebeau, and Cliff Ponte, Jr. will also discuss the safety issues surrounding vacant mills in the city, including the King Phillip Mills Complex, and numerous others. In addition, they will also talk about any issues surrounding the Abbey Grille Restaurant, which had undergone major reconstruction over several years before reopening its doors last fall.
Also on the agenda, a general discussion of public safety issues that affect all Fall River residents.
The meeting will be held at the Good Sheppard Parish at 1598 South Main Street beginning at 6:30 pm and is open to the public.
