The Fall River City Council has scheduled a public hearing on the tax classification for the City of Fall River on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.

Following a public hearing, the City Council will set the Residential and Commercial property tax rates for 2016. The Fall River Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be there to advocate on your behalf. To encourage economic growth and investment, the Chamber is requesting that there be a consistent fiscal tax policy in Fall River that is supportive to local companies in a way which also helps to improve the City’s business climate. A major step in that direction is to maintain a 1.69%, or lower tax shift.

Please join the Chamber at the hearing on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will take place on in the City Council Chambers of Government Center in Fall River, MA. Thank you in advance for your continued support for local businesses. Together we are improving the local business climate.
