Police, DA Investigating Homicide and Assault

Fall River Police and the Bristol County District Attorney’s office are investigating an assault and homicide that took place early yesterday morning.

Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney’s office, Fall River Police and Homicide Unit prosecutors are actively investigating an assault and fatality, which occurred in the City of Fall River yesterday morning, October 16, 2024.

At approximately 4:30 am yesterday, Fall River Police received a 911 call for two parties with injuries and were dispatched to 490 Dickinson Street in Fall River. When police arrived, they encountered a 55-year-old male with multiple stab wounds and located a female, identified as 42-year-old, Remy Aull with a single gunshot wound. Both parties were transported for medical treatment. Ms. Aull was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at approximately 10:15 pm yesterday evening.

The investigation into this matter is active and ongoing. No further information can be disseminated at this time.
