Fall River-based human service agency People, Incorporated is nearing completion of a new early education center in Fall River’s north end slated to open this fall.
The preschool will replace the agency’s current facility on Locust Street and will increase enrollment from about 150 students to over 200.
President & CEO Megan Stirk says the $13 million facility will feature large learning spaces and an innovative educational experience for youngsters.
Funding for the center comes from a diverse set of public and private sources.
Ms. Stirk says when complete the new facility will be a welcoming space for parents seeking an early childhood education, regardless of income.
