People Incorporated will host its 11th Annual Miles for SMILES 5K Road Race & Walk from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5. Its purpose: to raise funds for People Inc.’s SMILES program, which provides school-based mentoring for local youth.
The event will be held at 900 Riggenbach Road in the Fall River Industrial Park, starting with a Kids Fun Run at 9:00 a.m. for children 12 and under. Registration will be available the day of the race only for children accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will also be a free petting zoo from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. for children to enjoy.
