New England boasts a wide range of museums, parks, zoos, and historical attractions, and passes good for free or discounted admission to many of them are available to SAILS Network cardholders at libraries in 40 communities in Southeastern Massachusetts, including the Fall River Public Library (FRPL).

Passes are issued on a first come, first served basis, and must be reserved in advance. The number provided and the amount of the discount varies by attraction. Buttonwood Park Zoo offers free admission for four people, for example, while Mystic Seaport offers 50% off admission for two adults and three children.

A SAILS library card must be presented to receive passes. In Fall River, Massachusetts residents with a license or other picture ID can get library cards free of charge at the FRPL’s circulation desk. Residents of other states can also obtain free cards if they own property in or work in Massachusetts.

For more information, call the Fall River Public Library at 508-324-2700, or go to sailsinc.org/museum-passes-at-libraries/.
