In light of the possible three to six inches of snow that is predicted to develop overnight, Mayor Jasiel Correia has ordered a parking ban that goes into effect at 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4th. Basically, that means residents should not park on the side of streets where fire hydrants are located.
The city’s traffic spokeswoman Laura Ferreira says, violators will be towed and ticketed, adding that it is imperative to allow emergency vehicles to flow smoothly in the event of inclement weather.
