The public is invited to attend the Fall River Police Department’s third annual “Police and Public Palooza’” block party, to be held on Tuesday, August 21, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Britland Park. The rain location is the Boys & Girls Club of Fall River.
The event will feature free food, entertainment, and activities ranging from music, dancing, photo booths, and face painting to arts and crafts, story telling, a behind-the-scenes look into police vehicles, canine demonstrations, and car seat safety checks.
A 3on3 basketball tournament with members of the police department will also take place. Those interested in participating are asked to sign up at the police station at 3:30 p.m. the day of the event.
