Among the topics up for discussion at tonight’s Fall River City Council Meeting:
Mayor Correia’s request to make an appointment to the Community Preservation Committee, and for approval of an employment agreement in connection with the Department of Community Maintenance. In addition, the Finance Subcommittee will convene to discuss with various parties the closure of Philips Lighting in the Fall River Industrial Park and economic development issues regarding new business in the city.
The meeting will be held at the Council Chamber in Government Center starting with the Committee on Health and Environmental Affairs at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and can participate in citizens input if desired.
