Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street, invites you to meet some Out-of-
This-World Animals! on Wednesday, August 21 at 11 a.m. Keeping to the spirit of
this summer’s outer space theme, this unique animal show features an assortment
of critters that are nothing short of … well … strange!

Families are invited to spread a blanket on the Elm Street Lawn and bring a picnic
lunch or snacks to the morning’s presentation which will feature Bob Schenck of
Animal Instincts Pet Shop. He will bring along some of his more unusual animal
friends possessing abilities and appearances that are “otherworldly!” Children will
get a close-up look at these unusual creatures and in some cases, actually hold
them. A raffle for some fun prizes will follow the presentation. In the event of rain,
the show will take place in the meeting room.

This event is part of the library’s “A Universe of Stories” summer reading club,
sponsored by Rockland Trust Bank. For more information, contact David Mello at
508-324-2700 ext. 4, or visit us online at fallriverlibrary.org.
